Pencil (Compose) Button Not Responding on Messages Screen(Android app)

Description

Tapping the pencil (compose) button at the bottom-right of the Messages screen does not trigger any action. The button appears interactive but does not open a new message or navigation screen.

Steps to Reproduce
Open the mobile app
Navigate to Messages
Tap on the pencil icon (compose button) in bottom-right

Expected Result
Should open:

  • New message screen OR Contact selection screen

Actual Result
No response on tap
No navigation or feedback
Button appears non-functional
